THIS AGREEMENT (“the Agreement”), made via Greenville Events by Design Website, by and between Greenville Events by Design (the “Owner”), whose business address is 2304 Stonewall St., Greenville, TX 75401 and (the “Renter”) collectively, the “Parties”.
The parties agree as follows:
Owner hereby grants a limited and revocable license (the “License”) to the Renter to use the following space of Event Room (the “Space”) on the Event Date & during the hours specified under this agreement.
The Renter shall hold the following Event on (the “Event Date”/"Reservation Time"), as specified by reservation made via Greenville Events by Design website. Renter is authorized to use the Space to hold the Event, and for no other purpose for the date and time indicated, only. If any additional time is needed it is to be arranged prior to event and at an additional cost. Renter is allowed into the room at the start of the rental time and must vacate by the designated end time as stated in this contract.
Renter shall pay to Owner a total fee (the “ Fee”), as specified per website for the use of the Space. Any additional fees will be quoted by Owner upon request from the Renter.
The Reservation Payment guarantees your Event date and time. No guarantee is made until this payment is received. This payment will be applied to final payment in which balance is due 72 hours prior to rental date.
Renter shall pay to Owner a security deposit of $150.00(the “Deposit”) for Bar Rental if alcohol is being served. No alcohol shall be brought in until deposit is received. Deposit is to be refunded within 72 business hours, in full or balance after the appropriate deductions at the conclusion of the rental. Deductions consist of, but are not limited to; $50 Late Fee, $50 Cleaning Fee, $ 50 Additional Time every 15 minutes after the conclusion of the contracted end time. Contact Owner to make arrangements via phone or email.
The Space shall be provided by the Owner as-is and Owner make no warranty regarding the suitability of the Space for Renter’s intended use.
After the completion of the Event, the Renter shall leave the Space in the same or similar condition as received from the Owner.
Beyond ordinary wear and tear, Renter shall be responsible for any damage caused by Renter’s use of the Space. Owner shall arrange for the repair of any such damage at Renter’s expense. An itemized quote and invoice will be sent to Renter. Payment must be received immediately.
Renter will be responsible for disposing of any trash generated at the Event and depositing it in the proper waste receptacles on site. Renter is response for sweeping floors and cleaning up any spills or excessive mess made during Event. Including common areas if they were affected by Renters guest. $50 Clean up Fee will apply if you fail to do so.
Right of Entry
Owner shall have the right to enter the Space at any time for any reasonable purpose, including any emergency that may threaten damage to Owner’s property, or injury to any person in or near the Space.
Renter hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Owner from any loss, damages, actions, suits, claims, or other costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any damage to any property or any injury caused to any person (including death) caused by Renter’s use of the Space, including any acts or omissions on the part of Renter, its employees, officers, directors, independent contractors, or other agents. Renter shall notify Owner of any damage or injury of which it has knowledge in, to, or near the Space, regardless of the cause of such damage or injury.
Owner shall have the right to revoke the License at any time prior to the Event Date, provided it gives Renter prior written notice of revocation. If Owner revokes the License prior to the Event for reasons other than nonpayment of fees or breach of this Agreement by Renter, Owner shall refund to Renter the full amount paid by Renter in connection with this Agreement, including the entire Deposit.
Alcoholic Beverage Agreement
If any alcoholic beverages will be served Owner will provide the Bar Area at an additional cost of $100. All alcohol must be provided by Renter and taken directly to the Bar Area. Renter agrees they will not hold Owner liable for any accidents or occurrences that might take place while consuming alcohol at the Event.
Alcohol is NOT allowed outside of the Rental Room area.
Absolutely no alcohol is to be taken outside.
Deposit $150 required.
Renter may cancel the Event by notifying Owner within Fourteen (14) days, or more, before the Event Date. In such an event, Owner shall refund to Renter the full amount of Down Payment/Deposit/Balance. In the event the Event is cancelled within Fourteen (14) days of the Event Date, Owner will refund any amount paid towards the Balance but Owner shall have the right to retain the full Down Payment/Deposit.
Neither Party may assign or transfer their respective rights or obligations under this Agreement without prior written consent from the other Party.
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and governed in all respects by, the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Renter and Owner, and supersedes any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this Agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings or other agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, the Parties have caused this Agreement to be executed upon acceptance of these terms.
